Tech Meets Books// The Namesake by Jhumpa Lahiri

Yet another Tech Meets Books post, this time inspired by Jhumpa Lahiri's The Namesake. I'm a huge fan of Jhumpa Lahiri's novels, ever since The Lowland and I'm in love with her writing that always makes me feel calm and at peace.

I'm a huge fan of traveling and I hope that sometime in the near future, I'll be able to explore Europe and Asia. I've been to Asia before and lived there for a while when I was young but I've never had the chance to explore my surroundings.

This wallpaper was the most time-consuming yet but I'm happy with the way it turned out. I hope you like it as much as I do!

  1. Love it! The colour is beautiful and I love how you included some icons pertaining to the quote. Are those countries behind the world map?

  2. Oooh. I actually haven't read anything by Jhumpa Lahiri, which I know is a damn shame. It's always on the reading list for Creative Writing class, but never for the ones I take.

I wish I can see the world. One day, Alice-Jane! ONE DAY.

  4. I, on the other hand, have never travelled outside of Asia. I plan to change that soon. Also, I love travelling.

I love this wallpaper! The icons are perfect with the quote and I love the blue color tones. PRETTY.

I also need to read a Jhumpa Lahiri book soon.

  5. Traveling is so much fun! I love blogging and journaling about my travels so that I have something tangible (other than photos) to look back on.

I love Jhumpa Lahiri's prose since it's so pretty and manages to make her novels universal in terms of experiences and emotions.

  6. Jhumpa Lahiri, sigh. My all-time favorite author. Her words read like treasures, like secrets, like deep breaths. So good.
