A Shout out to Michelle Zink

There is nothing quite like the feeling of find a comment of my blog. It's not successful at all and I wonder at times, "Is this worth it?".

Dear Michelle Zink,

I want to thank you for commenting on my blog. You were the first to do so. Thank you.

I was just starting out, and I felt like my efforts were wasted. I had just written my review for The Guardian of the Gate since I had received the ARC. Days later, I found that you commented on the post. It made me feel so happy. The comment was from a published author and I felt so exuberant.

I never commented, saying thank you. I regret that so much. You commented again when I wrote a short post about the Prophecy of the Sisters website. Thank you.

I am really, really grateful that you commented, even when my blog was just starting out.

It was then, when I found the energy and dedication to keep blogging. If an author commented on my blog, then my blog couldn't be that bad right?

Thank you for motivating, even if it was indirectly, to keep on blogging.

P.S I'm a huge fan of the Prophecy of the Sisters trilogy, and Michelle Zink just came out with a new book, Temptations of Angels. Please go out and buy it! It's really, really good!

Here's the synopsis of the book, from Michelle Zink's website:
When her parents are murdered before her eyes, sixteen-year-old Helen Cartwright finds herself launched into an underground London where a mysterious organization called the Dictata controls the balance of good and evil. Helen learns that she is one of three remaining angelic descendants charged with protecting the world’s past, present, and future. Unbeknownst to her, she has been trained her whole life to accept this responsibility. Now, as she finds herself torn between the angelic brothers protecting her and the devastatingly handsome childhood friend who wants to destroy her, she must prepare to be brave, to be hunted, and above all to be strong, because temptation will be hard to resist, even for an angel.
